Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital-based Cath Lab team in Lafayette, IN as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist). Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture essential cardiac and vascular images. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent licensure as required by state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications. ACLS required per client.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. Client requires >2 years experience.
• Strong Cath Lab skills with experience using Philips Allura / Axurion / Philips Xper equipment preferred.
• Experience with EP procedures is preferred. EP training is preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI is preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Primary shift: Days.
• Shift pattern: Primary days with evening, nights, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage required.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
• Call requirements: After-hours coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Float requirements: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Unit profile: 2 coronary suites and 1 electrophysiology suite. Typical patient ratio 1:3-4.

First Day / Reporting Instructions

• Reporting location: Enter through the Emergency Room entrance. Follow interior signage to the Heart Center waiting area and proceed to the Cath Lab as directed.
• Parking: Use the parking lot near the Emergency Room on the south side of the building. Employee parking is in the back section of that lot.
• Dress code: Hospital-issued scrubs required.
