AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Category Buyer.
This position is responsible for implementing overall sub-commodity strategy defined with and under the supervision of the Category Manager. To ensure the competitiveness of one or more product families, this position aims at identifying cost reduction opportunities through scouting of new suppliers, benchmark activities, and contracts negotiation with existing ones.
With a strong emphasis on the continued reduction of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), you will apply your commercial expertise and market insight to ensure the ongoing competitiveness of the business. This will be achieved without compromising the Group’s core values or the continuity of supply of products and services to our operations. As part of the role, you will proactively engage with key internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain and financial risks within the vendor base, ensuring resilience, stability, and long‑term value for the business.
