Job Title: Commercial Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter with expertise in basic framing, doors, frames, and hardware installations, as well as casework installations. Experience in both wood and metal stud framing is highly desirable. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic framing tasks using metal materials.
  • Install doors, frames, and hardware efficiently.
  • Execute casework installations with precision.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on various construction projects.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with finish carpentry and metal stud framing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
