Title: Caregiver
Job Status: Non-Exempt, PRN
Rate of Pay: $17.00 - $19.73 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Flexible scheduling; preferred morning and 12-hour day shifts listed below

We are seeking warm, hospitality-focused Caregivers to join our team. This role supports residents within their apartment homes, helping them feel safe, connected, and genuinely cared for.
Schedule:
While we offer fully flexible PRN, part-time, and full-time hours dependent on your availability, it is a plus if you can work:
Preferred Morning Shifts
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Preferred 12-Hour Shifts
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Weekend Availability Requirement
- Every other weekend, both Saturday & Sunday, with a minimum of 8 hours of availability each day.
- Or, One weekend day each week, with at least 8 hours of availability on the selected day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and assistance with daily activities
- Offer warm companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Escort residents to errands, shopping trips, and medical appointments
- Promote independence, engagement, and daily activity
- Assist with light household tasks and occasional pet care
- Maintain communication with supervisors regarding resident status
- Record time worked and tasks completed using our mobile app
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and complete assigned courses by the given deadline.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for working with older adults
- Ability to follow written and verbaly instructions in English, and communicate effectively
- Based household skills (light meal prep and housekeeping)
- Smartphone capability to use our timekeeping and care-plan app
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of caregiving experience with seniors
- Experience providing dementia-level care (6+ months)
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to move throughout the community during the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Adequate vision and hearing
- Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases, and odors
