Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesSign-on Bonus and Education Assistance Available*discuss with RecruiterAs a Circulating Registered Nurse in our CVOR, you will be a vital member of the surgical team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and functioning correctly.
- Assisting the surgical team with patient preparation and positioning, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
- Meticulously monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure, promptly reporting any changes to the surgical team.
- Maintaining a sterile field and adhering to strict infection control protocols to minimize the risk of complications.
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing proactive assistance to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Accurately and thoroughly documenting all relevant patient information, procedures, and observations.
- Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the use of specialized CVOR equipment and technologies.
Job Requirements- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS Certification required within 5 months
