We are hiringa Medical Assistantto support abusy specialty medical centerseeing120–200 patients dailyacross multiple specialties. This role will support anew physician starting in June, with each provider having a dedicated MA. You’ll play a critical role in bothfront and back office patient care coordinationwithin a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
• Room patients and prepare examination rooms for visits
• Assist providers during clinical examinations and procedures
• Perform patient intake and update medical charts in the EMR
• Handle appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out
• Complete insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records
• Support daily administrative and operational clinic needs

• Medical Assistant experience (front and/or back office)
• EMR/EHR proficiency
• Patient care and patient intake
• Appointment scheduling
• Rooming patients and checking vitals
• Insurance verification
• Medical terminology

• Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience
• Patient education
• Referrals and prior authorizations
• Strong customer service experience

• Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00 pm

You’ll be joining ahigh-volume, collaborative medical centerwhere your work directly supports patient care and physician success. This is an opportunity to step into astable, long-term contract roletied to practice growth and provider expansion.

This is aContract positionbasedon-site in Burbank, CA.

This is a Contract position based out of Burbank, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
