Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

 

Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

 

To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology Certification school in California (CA) or passed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.
  • Current or within previous 2 years, work in cardiac catheterization service areas (Exceptions made in case by case basis).
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred

  • Minimum 3 years current hands-on x-ray and scrub experience within an interventional EP Lab
  • Angiographic experience with scrubbing.
  • Hemodynamic Monitoring Experience. Electrocardiogram (ECG) Interpretation
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Registered Cardiac Electr (RCES)
  • Venipuncture (VENIPUNCTURE)
