Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally.  Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.  We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Candidate will be responsible for Domestic Settlements and fail control processing across Fed and DTC-eligible product types. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring both internal and external systems related to trade settlements from both trade clearance and operational risk standpoints. Candidate will act as a liaison between settlement and various internal and external clients/business partners (Middle Office/Sales, Securities Finance, Compliance, Repo/Funding Desk, counterparty back offices, vendor contacts). Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and a high level of service between settlements and the functional areas we support.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of capital markets industry experience; or 2+ years of military experience; or a Master of Business Administration (MBA)


Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles: general ledger reconciliation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Broadridge application
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of  trade settlement including DTCC and FED eligible securities
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and also formulate plans to affect positive change within a team environment.
