Role Overview

This position is part of a global technology expansion focused on modernizing and scaling enterprise‑grade payment and acquiring platforms. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of performance‑critical systems, partnering closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions that support complex transaction processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and enhance backend software components that support core business platforms.
• Translate functional and non‑functional requirements into technical designs and production‑ready code.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot applications with a strong emphasis on reliability, throughput, and latency.
• Review existing systems and drive improvements in code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Participate in and lead code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem‑solving sessions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to less‑experienced engineers.
• Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and project priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development.
• 5+ years of hands‑on development using C.
• 3+ years working on high‑volume, low‑latency transactional systems (OLTP environments).
• 3+ years of experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial technology or payment processing platforms.
• Exposure to additional programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Work Arrangement & Eligibility

• This is an on‑site role, Monday through Friday. In‑person collaboration is considered essential for onboarding, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes.
• Candidates must have current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.
• This is a full‑time, permanent position. Contract or contract‑to‑hire submissions will not be considered.
