Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Buyer to join a power plant and gas turbine supplier in Glastonbury, CT. This role is seeking a candidate to be on-site five days a week. The Buyer is responsible for executing purchasing activities, including issuing competitive requests for quotations, processing purchase orders, and overseeing order fulfillment to support project and program builds. This role requires strong multitasking skills and close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including support engineering, quality, and project planning teams. Key Responsibilities: - Manage supplier selection, relationships, and performance - Issue RFQs and purchase orders; negotiate pricing and commercial terms - Monitor open POs, resolve procurement issues, and drive cost and process improvements
