You are a talented and experienced Vice President level professional that will help define business growth strategies for the Payments organization.
J.P. Morgan Payments Business Transformation is a strategic and execution-focused group. Payments sits at the intersection of finance and technology in an industry undergoing a major transformation. Business Transformation supports the business on a project basis, where projects are team-based and include regular interaction with J.P. Morgan Payments executives. This team is part of the Transformation & Execution group shaping the strategic framework for J.P. Morgan's Payments business.
Job responsibilities
- Work with business leaders to design and agree on future objectives and ensure prioritization;
- Assume ownership and shepherd execution of key initiatives;
- Ensure alignment and coordination across various teams, including Sales
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to work with colleagues at all levels as a peer and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Comfortable handling complex projects and working effectively with cross-Line of Business stakeholders
- Strong end-to-end problem solving skills
- Define, frame and deconstruct large, business-wide problems
- Prioritize issues, analysis and team capacity
- Structure and build quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses; Articulate and concise communication skills, with experience speaking to executives
- Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources; Identify implications and progress to major decisions with solid rationale
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy experience
- Payments experience preferred; wholesale banking and business-to-business payments background is a plus
- Track record of managing work teams with high marks on mentorship and coaching
- Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written); Distinctive problem solving skills; able to break down and structure complex problems; Excellent command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency with analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, R, SAS, etc.)
