Role Overview

Sodexo’sFood Platformteam is seeking aBusiness Technology Manager.TheBusiness Technology Managerisresponsible forformulating and defining system scope,objectives, and requirements based on a deep understanding of user needs, business processes, and industry standards. Applies advanced systems analysisexpertiseto solve complex business problems by designing,modifying, and implementing effective technical and procedural solutions.

This is a remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere within the U.S. East Coast Preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Will actasaData Governance lead forthe North American Food Platform team, ensuring alignment with global standards, policies, and operating models
  • Will operationalizedata governance principles acrossFood Platformfunctions and champion adoption of enterprise governance frameworks and tooling across regional teams
  • Willestablishand maintainoversight of data quality, driving continuous improvement across accuracy, completeness, validity, uniqueness, timeliness, and consistency
  • Will partnerwith regional and global data governance teams to implement best practices and resolve complex,cross‑domaindata issues
  • Will leadcross‑functionaldelivery withTDDI(Tech Digital Data & Innovation)stakeholders by translating operational needs into actionable requirements and user stories, and drivingtimely, informeddecision‑making
  • Will analyze and documentcurrent‑statesystems, data flows, and integrations to define project scope, milestones, dependencies, and key risks
  • Will collaboratewith global and regional stakeholders to ensure solution designs and deliverables align with CDM andAPI‑firstintegration patterns, while managing decision logs, approvals, and outstanding actions
  • Will support andmaintainthe integrated project plan—including milestones, dependencies, and RAID—while deliveringexecutive‑readystatus reporting and drivingcross‑teamissue and risk resolution
  • Will leaddata mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities; define acceptance criteria; and drivetimelytriage and remediation of data quality issues
  • Will ownend‑to‑endUAT execution with business partners, including test strategy, defect triage and resolution, retesting cycles, training readiness, and formalsign‑off
  • Will drivego‑livereadiness and provide post–go‑liveBAU support to stabilize operations and ensure a successful transition to production

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating data reporting or evaluation solutions
  • Proficiencyin data quality monitoring and implementing improvements, data stewardship, and master data management processes and systems
  • Experience with Azure hybrid technologies (e.g., Azure Stack Hub, Azure Stack HCI) as they relate to data governance and enterprise data management.
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate across global and regional teams.
  • Project management skills& experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead regional change and promote data-driven decision-making
  • Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills – with a proficient ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data
  • Foodserviceor hospitality industry experience preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 5 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years IT and business-related experience
