WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • 4-7+ years of business development experience in clinical research, with at least 3 years specifically calling on CNS sponsors or CROs
  • Demonstrated track record of opening new sponsor or CRO accounts and closing site selection wins — not just relationship maintenance
  • Active, current relationships at multiple CNS sponsors and at least 2–3 CNS-focused CROs
  • Deep working knowledge of how site selection actually gets decided inside sponsors and CROs (feasibility, site qualification visits, capabilities scoring)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate site capabilities into competitive site selection responses
  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor with high autonomy and direct accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience selling for a clinical research site, site network, SMO, or IRO with a CNS focus
  • Experience selling into late-phase CNS programs (Alzheimer's, MDD, schizophrenia, addiction, neurodegeneration)
  • Familiarity with cooperative group, foundation-funded, and industry-sponsored CNS trial dynamics
  • CRO-side BD experience within CNS divisions at major full-service or specialty CROs

Helpful But Not Required

  • Established relationships with sponsor outsourcing or clinical operations leaders at top CNS pharma
  • Background in life sciences, neuroscience, or behavioral health
  • Existing book of CNS sponsor or CRO contacts portable into a new role (subject to non-compete review)
