Build and execute a targeted CNS sponsor and CRO outreach strategy across neurology, psychiatry, Alzheimer's, depression, schizophrenia, addiction, and adjacent indications
Open new sponsor accounts at top CNS pharma and biotech companies, including established leaders and emerging CNS-focused biotechs
Establish and deepen relationships with CNS-focused CRO site engagement and patient recruitment teams across major global and specialty CROs
Drive site selection wins through tailored capabilities responses, credible enrollment positioning, and direct sponsor and CRO engagement
Represent the site at key industry conferences across the CNS space to deepen relationships and surface new opportunities
Track pipeline progression from first contact through site selection, contract execution, and study activation, and report on metrics weekly
Partner closely with site leadership, PIs, and operations to position the site's capabilities, prior CNS enrollment performance, and patient database accurately and competitively
Stay ahead of the CNS pipeline by tracking sponsor pipelines, CRO outsourcing patterns, and emerging therapeutic priorities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
4-7+ years of business development experience in clinical research, with at least 3 years specifically calling on CNS sponsors or CROs
Demonstrated track record of opening new sponsor or CRO accounts and closing site selection wins — not just relationship maintenance
Active, current relationships at multiple CNS sponsors and at least 2–3 CNS-focused CROs
Deep working knowledge of how site selection actually gets decided inside sponsors and CROs (feasibility, site qualification visits, capabilities scoring)
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate site capabilities into competitive site selection responses
Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor with high autonomy and direct accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes

Prior experience selling for a clinical research site, site network, SMO, or IRO with a CNS focus
