The Business Development Specialist supports the growth and expansion of our client's brand by developing strategic relationships within the real estate, development, and investment communities. This role works collaboratively with sales, marketing, and business development professionals to identify opportunities, present interior design resources, and establish partnerships that accelerate project sales and brand exposure. About the Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Development & Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier realtors, demonstrating how our client's services and interior resources support the successful marketing and sale of their listings.
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with investor groups, developers, and builders to position our client as the preferred interior design partner for residential projects.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and consultations with prospective partners to showcase the company’s design resources, model home services, and project support capabilities.
- Assist in creating strategic partnerships that accelerate the marketing and sale of development projects.
- Sales Support & Market Expansion
- Support initiatives that increase market share and brand visibility within the community and surrounding markets.
- Collaborate with the Senior Business Development Professional and Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and strengthen community relationships.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions to align development efforts with company growth objectives.
- Administrative & Proposal Development
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements for prospective clients and partners.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to proposal preparation, contract documentation, and client communications.
- Maintain organized records of partnerships, leads, and active projects.
- Community Representation
- Represent our client at networking events, industry gatherings, and community functions.
- Serve as an ambassador for the brand, demonstrating the company’s culture, professionalism, and design expertise.
- Promote the company’s reputation for quality, style, and service within the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven sales or business development experience in a related industry.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present both technical and non-technical concepts.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in business software and tools used to prepare proposals, presentations, and client solutions.
