Role Description

Performs outreach to targeted prospects as directed by leadership. Responsible for prospecting contacts, generating qualified opportunities, securing new introductions, and managing relationships with potential customers. Possesses an understanding of healthcare technology, data and analytics space, particularly around selling to key external executive stakeholders and end users for both health plans and providers.


The Associate, Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving and advancing our strategic vision, organizational values, and ensuring operational effectiveness through their team. This role reports to Director, Business Development. Includes the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Grow OMI Revenue through new business acquisition for OMI’s Value Based Care segment
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, primarily performing cold outreach to qualified prospects with the goal of generating introductory meetings led by Business Development department leadership
  • Customer Relationship Management system maintenance and tracking of outreach through HubSpot platform, including regular reporting of activity & performance
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of OMI’s suite of products & the benefits to potential customers
  • Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders in the industry
  • Coordination with other OMI teams including Account Management, Implementation, etc. to meet the needs of potential clients
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Previous work experience in cold calling. Experience with CRM software (familiarity with Hubspot is a plus). Track record of achieving goals, including activity & sales quotas. Excellent communication skills.


Compensation: Competitive base salary with incentives based on performance, annual bonus, & equity award.

Remote Position. Headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey, 0-25% Travel
