Job Description
The Building Engineer operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility equipment across multiple commercial facilities. This role requires deep technical expertise in at least one core trade—such as electrical, HVAC, piping/plumbing, or central utility plant operations—along with the ability to perform multi-skilled tasks across additional disciplines. The Mobile Engineer 3 ensures that building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards while providing high-quality facility services and support.

Work Environment
This position is based in a corporate office building environment in Bethesda, supporting commercial building systems and infrastructure. The role involves traveling between facilities to service mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, furniture, fire life safety, and control systems. You will work with standard building maintenance tools, instruments, and computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel to document work, record equipment readings, and manage maintenance activities. The environment emphasizes safety, clean and organized work areas, and adherence to established procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethesda, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
