Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems including plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all work meets required safety codes and effectively operate and adjust building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair building systems including plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all work performed meets required safety codes and standards.
• Report modifications and repairs into CMMS for Chief’s review.
• Operate HVAC systems and make necessary adjustments to building automation systems (BAS or EMS or ATC).
• Monitor and ensure quality control of subcontractors performing maintenance or repairs.
• Perform the duties of a Building Technician II as required.
• Maintain all tools, parts, and supplies in an organized manner and inform the Chief Engineer of any replacement or repair needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in commercial building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience with high rise maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and the use of stationary engineer skills.
• State Certified Journeyman’s license or equivalent.
• MD 1st grade stationary license or equivalent if required in another state is preferred.
• Basic PC skills and the ability to learn company-specific software.
• CFC or EPA certification.
• Proficiency in automated work order systems is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new or changing software programs.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Baltimore,MD.
