About the Role

This is a great position for someone who enjoys a variety of job responsibilities ranging from customer and employee contact to analyzing and preparing reports. You will follow established procedures; plan, direct and organize the sales and daily operational activities of the assigned location to include, new accounts, cashiering and customer needs. Maintain communication between location and upper management and provide support, guidance, and training to staff.Our company’s culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams. • Responsible for carrying out Bank policies and procedures, and making decisions in applying these policies and procedures• Develop measurable goals and objectives that focus on both customer service and long term profits.• Work closely with the Market President and management to formulate strategic planning goals and objectives to grow the bank’s deposit portfolio and net income while providing deposit services our customers and cultivating relationships with potential customers to drive deposit and loan growth.• Keep abreast of related industry and professional trends and products and services to ensure the current and future effectiveness and profitability of the bank’s services, policies, staff proficiencies and processed as they relate to assigned areas of responsibilities.• Regularly make sales calls on customers in the field to solicit business for the bank.• Maintain knowledge of all the features and benefits of all the Bank’s products and services in order to efficiently train and motivate staff to cross-sell them to customers.• Lead, direct and coach location staff• Employ, counsel and discipline assigned staff.• Schedule and supervise staff workflow.• Evaluate staff’s work performance by preparing annual reviews and conducting counseling sessions.• Provide efficient training to staff in operations and policies and conducts monthly staff meetings.• Ensure compliance with banking policies, new accounts, cashiering and customer service activities.• Maintain communications between the location and management by preparing and/or approving daily, weekly and month-end reports regarding operations and productivity, writing memos and attending management team meetings.• Represent the Bank with major customers and community leaders. Work towards and assist in the positive image and growth of the bank.• Comply with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.• Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.• Perform other tasks which may be assigned by upper management.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or finance; or five + years of relevant work experience in the banking industry, the last two of which have been in a position of senior management.• Working knowledge of all types of credit facilities and an awareness of the various deposit products• Must be familiar with federal, state and local regulatory rules and requirements governing financial institutions.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
