The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and financial success of the Middletown branch. This role oversees all aspects of branch operations—including sales, rentals, service, parts, and training—while ensuring alignment with company standards and regional goals.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and active day-to-day management. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
DUTIES & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all daily branch operations across sales, rentals, service, parts, and training programs
  • Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvements to meet financial and operational goals
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Drive revenue growth across equipment sales and rental business within the assigned territory
  • Partner with the sales team to expand market presence and strengthen customer partnerships
  • Ensure the branch delivers timely and effective solutions to meet customer needs
  • Oversee service operations to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance and repair work
  • Ensure appropriate parts inventory levels to support service efficiency and customer demand
  • Coordinate effectively across departments to maximize equipment uptime and customer satisfaction
  • Support and promote internal and customer-facing safety training programs
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees across multiple departments
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
  • Manage branch budget, expenses, and cost controls to achieve profitability targets
  • Track and analyze financial and operational performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in a management role, particularly in material handling equipment or similar technical industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and ERP systems (Irium preferred).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge in material handling equipment and related technical systems.
Work Environment
  • Office and warehouse/shop setting.
  • Periodic travel is required to conduct customer site visits and to participate in business-related training, events, and meetings.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking in shop and offices.
  • Handle stress and high pressure daily.
Compensation
