Position: BAS Branch Manager
Duration: Permanent
Salary: $105,000–$140,000 base + bonus
Location: Remote – 50% remote / 50% travel
- Territory: North Florida (Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Panama City and surrounding areas)
- Local candidates of the surrounding areas only
Schedule: As needed; 24-hour responsibility but typically ~8 hours/day
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations for a commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) division supporting major clients across North Florida. This individual will take ownership of all active projects, balancing hands-on project oversight with estimating, financial management, and customer relationship development. The ideal candidate brings deep BAS experience, understands low-voltage system installations, and has grown from the field into leadership. Must-Haves
- 10+ years of experience in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industry
- Hands-on experience installing low-voltage BAS systems
- 1+ years of estimating experience (pricing to paper required)
- Strong commercial construction background
- Experience with project scheduling and estimating
- Project management experience (minimum 1–2 years; Assistant PM acceptable)
- Experience managing or overseeing BAS installations

Day-to-Day
- Oversee all BAS projects within the branch (30+ active projects at a time)
- Manage projects ranging from $1,500 to $300K (up to ~$2M total workload)
- Lead and support superintendents and project coordinators (21 direct reports)
- Coordinate with estimating teams to develop accurate pricing and proposals
- Maintain financial health of projects (budgets, margins, forecasting)
- Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with major clients
- Support business development and help grow the regional market
- Travel locally for site visits and customer meetings (occasional overnight if needed)
