Job Description: The Boiler Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial and industrial boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of heating and hot water systems. This role supports facilities such as schools, hospitals, manufacturing plants, and commercial buildings by performing technical service work on boilers and related equipment, while delivering clear communication and excellent customer service.

Work Environment: The role supports commercial and industrial customers across the greater Philadelphia region in a variety of settings, including manufacturing and food processing plants, beverage production facilities, hospitals, outpatient healthcare centers, living communities, elementary through high schools, colleges and universities, laboratories, office buildings, hotels, restaurants, museums, warehouses, retail stores, and places of worship. Technicians work both independently and as part of a service team, frequently traveling between customer sites in a company vehicle. The environment is hands-on and field-based, involving work on HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and energy efficiency systems, as well as plant equipment, low-pressure systems, compressors, and hydronic and steam systems. Services are provided on a 24/7 basis to keep facilities operational and occupants comfortable, so the position may involve overtime and participation in an on-call rotation. Work involves using a variety of diagnostic instruments, hand and power tools, and safety equipment, and requires adherence to safety procedures and applicable codes in mechanical rooms, plant areas, and other technical spaces.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
