Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at two state-run care centers supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The BCBA will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals by creating behavior support plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with staff, caregivers, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior support plans aimed at reducing harmful behaviors and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Observe and analyze client behaviors, identifying triggers and patterns.
  • Track and interpret behavior data to measure progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Train staff, caregivers, and families on how to effectively manage behaviors.
  • Assist in improving the daily living skills and independence of residents.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, caregivers, and therapists in a 24/7 residential facility environment.

Schedule:

  • Primary shifts are daytime (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
  • Flexible options for full-time and part-time roles.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be a licensed BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and teach others.
  • Compassionate and committed to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience in behavior analysis, particularly in a clinical or residential setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
