Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at two state-run care centers supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The BCBA will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals by creating behavior support plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with staff, caregivers, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior support plans aimed at reducing harmful behaviors and promoting positive behaviors.
- Observe and analyze client behaviors, identifying triggers and patterns.
- Track and interpret behavior data to measure progress and adjust plans accordingly.
- Train staff, caregivers, and families on how to effectively manage behaviors.
- Assist in improving the daily living skills and independence of residents.
- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, caregivers, and therapists in a 24/7 residential facility environment.
Schedule:
- Primary shifts are daytime (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
- Flexible options for full-time and part-time roles.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must be a licensed BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and teach others.
- Compassionate and committed to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience in behavior analysis, particularly in a clinical or residential setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
