Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Job Description

In the role of an Electrical BIM Coordinator, you will work under the direct supervision of a BIM Lead, Engineer, or other technical professionals. You will assist in the development of the electrical BIM model with guidance from the BIM or Engineering staff and be responsible for creating the electrical BIM model, systems, content, and overall delivery output.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately model BIM elements in the correct spatial constraints of the modeling environment using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams of the electrical design using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software.
  • Maintain the electrical model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, views, and sheets.
  • Produce electrical-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical certificate, Associate's degree, or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in 3D Design Software like Revit and Civil 3D.
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture.
  • Preference given to local candidates.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a normal 9-5 office schedule. You will be part of an exciting employee-owned company that operates in sectors such as water/wastewater, data centers, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
