Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive support in the administration of all employee benefit and retirement programs.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree in human resources or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification credential: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. Maintains benefits records and databases, ensuring that employee information is up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assists employees regarding benefits enrollment issues and plan changes.
  • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility. Coordinates with benefits vendors to ensure timely and accurate enrollment and status changes.
  • Responds to escalated benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries. Assists with the open enrollment process.
  • Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges. Supports audits, compliance testing, and benefit plan reviews as needed.
  • Collaborates with HR, payroll, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve benefits-related issues or system errors. Handles billing and reconciliation for employee benefits plans, ensuring that all payments and charges are accurate and on time.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
