Job Title: Benefits Manager

Job Description

This role leads compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS programs to support a high-performing, growing organization. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and possesses strong analytical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Work and communicate with brokers regarding benefits.
  • Process payroll for over 300 W2 employees weekly, salary employees biweekly, and international employees monthly, owning the full payroll cycle.
  • Create compensation reports utilizing market data to influence stakeholders.
  • Design and manage compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and sales compensation plans.
  • Lead market benchmarking, merit cycles, incentive payouts, and salary structure reviews.
  • Oversee health, retirement, and leave programs; manage vendors, renewals, open enrollment, employee communications, and benefits education.
  • Process accurate and timely U.S. and international payroll, including bonuses and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with all wage, hour, payroll, and benefits regulations.
  • Serve as the system owner for HRIS, ensuring data integrity, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership on reporting, analytics, audits, and decision support.
  • Provide guidance and training to leaders and teammates on total rewards programs and systems.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, and/or total rewards.
  • Hands-on payroll processing experience.
  • HRIS system ownership or administration experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid manufacturing and office environment. The work schedule is in-office from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cynthiana, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $57.00/hr.
