Behavioral Interventionist

Charlevoix Public Schools is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist to support staff in maintaining a positive learning environment and upholding high academic and behavioral standards at Charlevoix Elementary School (Grades PK–6).

 *To be employed by the 3rd Party Contracting Agency Edustaff. Candidates must be employed or have the ability to be employed by Edustaff.*

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree 
• Experience working with elementary students in need of behavioral intervention.   

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the school team, including the principal, teachers, and social worker, to plan and implement behavioral interventions for students in need of extra support.   
• Analyze SSIS data and reports for proactive intervention
• Work with teachers to assess and improve student behavior
• Develop and implement restorative practices for students.
• Support dysregulated students.    
• Recognize student accomplishments and positive behaviors.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve building and district goals.
• Attend professional development opportunities to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge of current practices and policies.

• Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year
• Hours: 7 hours per day
• Salary & Benefits: Hourly, based on experience and qualifications
