📄 Job Details – Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) (Contract)

We are seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) for a 13-week contract assignment located in Aberdeen. This role is within a behavioral health setting, focusing on addiction treatment and recovery services.

🧠 Position Overview:

The SUDP will be responsible for delivering comprehensive substance use disorder treatment, including individual and group counseling, patient education, and care coordination. The role requires working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support patients through their recovery journey.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for patients with substance use disorders
• Conduct psycho-educational sessions and lectures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with state and facility guidelines
• Support patients in achieving long-term recovery goals

✅ Requirements:

• Active Washington State SUDP License (required)
• Minimum 2 years of addiction treatment experience
• Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s/Master’s preferred)
• Candidates with SUDP trainee status (1800+ hours) may be considered
• Strong communication and counseling skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

🕒 Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• On-Call: Not required
• Holiday Requirement: No
