Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are excited to welcome a new Seasonal Bartender to our island-inspired resort. Someone who wants to be part of the Kona Kai culture, to stay a while and serve with a purpose. This role will report to: F&B Manager, Restaurant General Manager & Executive Chef

Requirements

YOU:

As a Seasonal Bartender at Vessel Restaurant + Bar, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience—serving up refreshing beverages with speed, skill, and a smile. You will craft cocktails, manage bar orders, ensure a clean and inviting space, and deliver exceptional service with every pour.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required.
• TIPS/Food Handlers Certification & California RBS Certification
• You must engage with our guests by possessing knowledge and understanding of food and beverage menu items.
• You must quickly respond to all guest needs and request.
• Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task
• Hours will vary-- flexible schedule required.
• Attention to details
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• With two beautiful pool side bars, you may be working outdoors during the summer. An amazing work space overlooking the Marina!
• Possess a passion for customer service, pride in your craft, and purpose to be the best!

When joining our team as a Seasonal Bartender, you will be offered:

• Pay rate of $20.75 per hour
• Overtime rate of $31.13 per hour
• Meal provided every shift--save an extra $10/day
