Main responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality customer service in alignment with company standards.
- Oversee bakery department operations, staffing, and scheduling.
- Train, supervise, and support bakery staff.
- Plan daily and weekly production and ensure product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of bakery work areas, prep spaces, and display cases.
- Ensure compliance with food‑safety and employee‑safety regulations.
- Assist customers, provide samples, promote products, and take bakery orders.
- Manage inventory, record keeping, and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare doughs, batters, icings, and operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and slicers.

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of bakery production processes and equipment.
- Understanding of food‑safety and sanitation requirements.
- Experience with inventory processes and ordering supplies.
Abilities:
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks (standing, bending, twisting, reaching).
- Ability to maintain predictable attendance, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to read and comprehend guidelines, instructions, and procedures.
