Responsibilities
The Underwriter - Healthcare Management Liability is responsible for submission generation, underwriting and policy issuance of Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Fidelity/Crime for large and complex private commercial and not-for-profit healthcare organizations. The underwriting position will be part of the Berkley Healthcare Financial Lines division of Berkley Healthcare. The candidate will be responsible for handling new and renewal, primary and excess business throughout the placement process from underwriting submission receipt to policy issuance.
Key functions include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure production and loss ratio goals are achieved for assigned book by reviewing, analyzing and evaluating information and taking appropriate action as necessary

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role include: • Base Salary Range: $130,000– $150,000 • Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus. • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.
