Akkodis is seeking Level 2 RDS Agent in Plymouth MI

Job Title: DRE (Seat Systems, Structure & Components)

Location: Plymouth MI

Pay Range: $25/hr - 30/hr on W2 (The pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Duration : 8+ Months Contract To Hire

Schedule of Shift Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm / 9:00am – 5:30pm / 10:00am-6:30pm / 1:00pm – 9:30pm

Job Description:

This is a Chat only role. No phone calls. Need someone that focuses on quality and not quantity. They must deliver solid customer service to Safelite. They will be working through a chat bot to help recalibrate light and camera sensors on the windshield. It will be a manual process to build all tickets.

Technical Skills

• Automotive Certification, Automotive Training, or 5+ years of Automotive ADAS/Diagnostic work experience.
• Proficient on OE or Aftermarket Scan tools on procedures and capabilities. (familiarity with OE software preferred)
• Ability to read, interpret and document automotive service information and technical service bulletins (TSB)
• Strong Automotive trouble-shooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• In depth knowledge on vehicle behavior on systems.
• Engine management system
• Understanding the process of reprogramming/flashing of automotive ECUs.
• In Depth understanding of Vehicle Diagnostic knowledge
• Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
• Able to follow OE Service/Repair information
• Safety Systems, such as
• ADS Module
• Trailer Systems
• Safety Restrain Systems (SRS)
• Antilock Brake Systems (ABS)
• Electronic systems Energy supply and Electricity
• Braking systems
• Steering and Suspension Systems
• Previous Automotive Diagnostic experience. Need to work in a dealership or lead mechanic at an independent. Does not want master ASE certified technicians (They would be too expensive anyways). If they have some ASE certs that is fine. Not looking for service manual technical authors.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be procedural oriented.
• Strong customer service skills are critical.
