Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in industrial automation and equipment, is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Production Support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician

Location: Middletown, PA

Pay Range: $30-$35

Shift: 2nd shift (14:30 - 23:00) or 3rd shift (23:30 - 6:30)

What's the Job?

  • Support technical production performance, training, and resource management.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance to optimize machine efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of automated equipment.
  • Coordinate machine enhancements and improvements with engineering teams.
  • Design mechanical tooling drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate procurement from local suppliers.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in a production environment, preferably in electrical manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly and industry standards.
  • Associate Degree in Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 4-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with safety compliance.
