Drafter III (AutoCAD)

Contract: 12 months
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Drafter III to support a design team within a refinery environment. This role will focus on updating and maintaining technical drawings using AutoCAD, incorporating redlines from engineering and design teams, and supporting document control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and revise drawings in AutoCAD based on redlines from Design Technicians
- Incorporate updates from Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Support Document Control by ensuring accuracy and consistency of drawings
- Provide general drafting support to the engineering/design team
- Conduct field walkdowns in a refinery environment to verify drawings and conditions
- Ensure compliance with drafting standards, methods, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a drafting role
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software)
- Knowledge of drafting standards, methods, and practices
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work safely in both office and industrial/refinery environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in refining, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Falcon systems
