Job Title: Associate General Counsel (Litigation)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Associate General Counsel to manage their litigation portfolio. This role is designed for a high-performing attorney looking to transition from a traditional law firm model into a strategic, business-integrated environment. You will take full ownership of litigation strategy, working directly with executive leadership to influence business outcomes and manage diverse real estate and commercial disputes.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $150,000 base salary

What You’ll Do

• Manage litigation matters independently from inception through resolution (excluding trial)
• Draft pleadings, motions, and key legal documents
• Lead discovery, conduct depositions, and attend hearings and mediations
• Drive negotiations and help shape favorable outcomes
• Serve as the point person coordinating with outside counsel on larger or trial-bound matters
• Partner directly with internal stakeholders to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of commercial/business litigation experience
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Strong hands-on litigation experience with the ability to manage a caseload autonomously
• Real estate litigation experience is a strong plus
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
