Legal Division attorneys work full time in the office in collaboration with other attorneys, staff, and clients at the location for which the attorney is hired. Pay will vary by the locality rate for the geographic location where the position is located. Base pay is USD $118,191 - USD $195,558 annually to which locality rate is added based on the location of the position. The locality rate increases the base pay by the following percentages: Washington, DC - 33.94% San Francisco, CA - 51.75% Dallas, TX - 27.26% Chicago, IL - 30.86% Kansas City, MO - 18.97% For more on FDIC locality rates, click here. The salary cap for CG positions, including locality pay, is $257,500. If selected, you may be required to serve a probationary or trial period as applicable to appointment type. During the probationary or trial period, you will be evaluated for fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
