How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Assessand manage comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation programs to ensure safe and timely athlete return-to-play.
  • Developcustomized, safe conditioning and nutrition plans for all athletes to optimize performance and prevent injury.
  • Evaluateand manage injuries, maintaining meticulous medical documentation and acting as the primary liaison between the athlete, physician, and sports performance staff.
  • Prepare athletes for all practices and competitions by adhering to all regulatory guidelines and team schedules in collaboration with sports performance staff.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred.
