This is a large, high-capacity hospital that sees a steady, varied caseload across routine, urgent, and critical care. The facility is over 15,000 square feet and set up to handle cases properly rather than refer them out by default. You have access to a fully stocked pharmacy, in-house laboratory, helical CT, two X-ray suites, ultrasound, endoscopy, an operating microscope, a dedicated dental suite, and two surgical suites equipped for advanced procedures.
The veterinary team includes experienced clinicians with different backgrounds, along with a full technician and support staff that can keep pace. There is structure to the day, regular case discussions, and oversight that is present but not intrusive. You will work alongside hospital leadership that is involved in operations and case flow, not removed from it.
It is a high-volume hospital where standards matter and where you are expected to think through cases, communicate clearly with clients, and follow them through. If you like having access to advanced tools and working up cases in a hospital that can handle them instead of referring out, this environment supports that.
The schedule includes a mix of appointment-based work and emergency intake depending on shift. You will see cases through, participate in rounds when on shift, and contribute to how the hospital runs day to day.
