Description

The Planning and Coordination Pillar of the SCPA department is a blend of daily operational planning, cross-functional coordination and some project analytics.

The associate supply chain planner is an individual contributor position responsible for ensuring the effective alignment of demand and supply with operational capability. The role is a blend of daily operational planning, cross-functional coordination and some project analytics. The associate supply chain planner supports in the planning and coordinating of the logistics resources required to effectively and efficiently flow Victoria’s Secret products through the supply chain from vendors to consumers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the effective alignment of demand and supply with operational capability
  • Partner with Managed Beauty Fillers, Assembly Centers and 3PL VAS sites to effectively and efficiently move beauty product from suppliers to VS&Co distribution centers
  • Create daily shipment load plans which reduce costs by maximizing trailer utilization while also balancing the need to move priority product through the supply chain to support sales
  • Monitor Beauty vendor key performance indicators and work with vendors to improve performance
  • Leverage cross functional contacts across the inbound supply chain inclusive of DC operations and inventory control to ensure product effectively flowing into receiving sites and partner with teams on process improvement
  • Participate in weekly supply chain meetings with Beauty and Home Operations and Merchandise Planning and Demand and Deployment teams to provide status updates of inbound beauty freight to support sales
  • Manage inbound inventory flow plans to route Beauty to appropriate distribution centers to mitigate storage constraints and align to DC outbound processing
  • Support and facilitate continuous improvement of performance within the beauty supply chain
  • Build analysis tools and processes that improve current state or provide an opportunity to expand the influence of SCP&A in Microsoft Office, Snowflake, and MSI Dossiers

Minimum Salary: $59,300.00
Maximum Salary: $77,805.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations or engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of inventory management or distribution management experience in high volume, fast paced seasonal or heavily promoted businesses (retail or consumer goods) is preferred
  • Ability to solve problems in an abstract environment
  • Confident with managing and analyzing inventory and distribution data for the purpose of providing insights
  • Passion for supply chain improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success working with and influencing team members to achieve goals
  • Expertise using Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with SAP, SQL, MSI Dossiers, and/or other Business Intelligence tools preferred
