This is a combined posting for Associate Patient Services Specialist, Patient Services Specialist and Senior Patient Services Specialist. Under the general supervision of the MGR PATIENT ACCESS/SCHEDULING, performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verify insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due the facility and provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Associate Patient Services Specialist

Required Qualifications: 

• 6 months - Customer service experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• General office experience.

Associate Patient Services Specialist, Richland, WA Min: 20.18, Max: 31.32

Patient Services Specialist

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years general office experience, which includes public interaction.
• 1 year patient access experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience. 
• Medical setting experience. 

Patient Services Specialist, Richland, WA Min: 21.17 Max: 32.87

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Access, performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verifies insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due the facility; Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Senior Patient Services Specialist

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years General Office experience with public interaction. 
• 3 years Patient Access experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Courses in keyboarding and office practices.    
• Courses in medical terminology.    
• Upon hire: Epic Credentialing.
• Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.
• Medical setting experience. 

Senior Patient Services Specialist, Richland, WA Min: 22.22 Max: 34.57
