PR01 operations are entering a new era of growth. PR01 will significantly increase production capacity to support millions of patients worldwide. To enable this expansion, the MMC Process Team is growing to match the site’s accelerated operational and technical demands. As part of this evolution, the external warehouse and intra-logistics strategy will undergo comprehensive transformation. Ensuring effective delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of these logistics processes will be critical to supporting current operations, enabling future capabilities, and sustaining PR01’s competitive advantage

Responsibilities:

  • The Logistics Analyst (PR01) will serve as the end‑to‑end Process Owner for Logistics and Shipping at the PR01 site, ensuring that operational standards, material storage, space management, material movements, and compliance controls support business needs, regulatory requirements, and site operational continuity.
  • This role is responsible for defining, governing, and continuously improving the logistics, shipping, and material storage processes, providing functional leadership, risk management, and cross‑functional alignment within PR01.
  • Serve as Process Owner for PR01 Logistics & Shipping, including material storage and internal/external material movements.
  • Provide functional oversight of logistics activities between PR01 and external warehouse partners.
  • Monitor and assess warehouse capacity and space utilization, defining and implementing strategies to optimize layout, storage, and availability in coordination with Warehouse and Planning to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Identify risks related to capacity constraints, material flow, and warehouse organization, and define and execute mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate shipments with Planning and Warehouse personnel, including SAP and non‑SAP air or ocean shipments, domestic and international, of finished product, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), or granules.
  • Comply with the shipping schedule and perform the corresponding system allocations.
  • Make booking arrangements for air and/or ocean shipments (SAP or non‑SAP), domestic or international. Contact carriers and perform tracking and monitoring of shipments (SAP or non‑SAP) until they reach their destination.
  • Oversee TSA screening activities for applicable shipments, ensuring full compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations (TSA, DOT, IATA, IMDG) and company/MCC requirements.
  • Define, govern, and continuously improve SOPs, standards, and controls for logistics, shipping, and material storage processes; author and support change controls and deviations to ensure consistent application of GMP-compliant procedures.
  • Serve as the primary interface between PR01, Global Logistics, and external logistics partners.
  • Participate in site initiatives and projects impacting PR01 logistics operations.
  • Maintain files of regulatory documentation managed by the Warehouse in accordance with area procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support inspections, audits, and supplier qualification activities.
  • Support training, contingency planning, and site emergency preparedness activities.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Lilly business processes: Particularly in the areas of materials management, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support functions. Knowledge of GMP requirements, technical understanding of SAP, eWM, and TMS systems.
  • Technical knowledge base in Power BI and automation data systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong leadership & human resource capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Fluent in English.
  • Technical understanding eWM, and TMS systems APICS certification

  • Experience leading processes, deviations, Change Controls, or site‑level improvement initiative.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end‑to‑end logistics, shipping, and material storage processes Practical knowledge of Quality Systems (Change Control, Deviations, CAPAs).
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent, risk‑based decisions.
  • Ability to lead processes without direct day‑to‑day supervision.
  • Strong cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills Functional knowledge of SAP / EWM / TMS or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical, systems‑thinking, and results‑oriented mindset

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain Previous experience in regulated (GMP) environments is highly desirable.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$52,500 - $121,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
