Under the general direction of the COHE Manager, the Assistant Health Services Coordinator (HSCA) works in conjunction with Health Service Coordinator (HSC) and plays a critical role within the COHE by working directly with injured workers, employers, health care providers, and other program participants to navigate the WA worker's compensation system within the first 90 days of a Washington State Labor and Industries (L&I) claim. This work includes functioning as a liaison on behalf of the attending provider, and facilitating communication between the injured worker, employer, and claim manager ensuring questions and issues are addressed. In addition, the Health Services Coordinator Assistant will provide community outreach and assist with organizing provider volume and credentialing.
