Length: 6 month contract with potential to extend for longer - benefits offered through Insight Global that are optional starting day one!

Pay rate: $65-80/hour



Required Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in:
  • Technology operations
  • Project / program management
  • Strategic operations or PMO type roles
  • Experience supporting VP level or executive stakeholders
  • Experience supporting Commercial or Medical Affairs organizations
  • Strong ability to create executive ready PowerPoint materials and status reporting
  • High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools)
  • Exposure to AI governance, analytics, or advanced technology initiatives



Nice to Have Skills & Experience


• Prior Chief of Staff, Strategic Ops, or Portfolio Management experience

• Experience in life sciences, biotech, pharma, or regulated environments

• Budget or resource forecasting experience

• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or formal PM methodologies

• Experience supporting Commercial or Medical Affairs organizations



Job Description


A growing pharmaceutical company based out of Boston, MA is seeing an Associate Chief of Staff/ Strategic Operations Project Manager to support senior Commercial IT leadership. This role blends Chief of Staff and Strategic Operations responsibilities, acting as an operational partner to the IT Vice President and Portfolio Director.


The ideal candidate will drive execution of strategic initiatives, support AI and technology governance, streamline cross functional operations, and develop executive level materials that enable clear decision making.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop executive level presentations, dashboards, reports, and readouts for IT DTE leadership.

• Support and execute strategic and operational initiatives, improving discipline, governance, and operating rigor.

• Act as a liaison between IT leadership and cross functional stakeholders.

• Manage and maintain centralized technology, portfolio, and governance artifacts.

• Support integrated planning, prioritization, and portfolio reviews across IT.

• Track and report on operational metrics, resourcing, and performance indicators.

• Support budget tracking, forecasting, and financial governance.

• Assist with AI governance, roadmap development, status tracking, and leadership communications.
