Role Description


This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney position based in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the areas of matrimonial and family law.


The Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in delivering strategic, client-focused legal representation across all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities


  • Represent clients in all phases of matrimonial and family law matters
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
  • Appear in Supreme and Family Courts
  • Conduct hearings, trials, and depositions
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for court proceedings and interviews
  • Manage client communications, including meetings and phone conferences
  • Independently manage a demanding caseload
  • Travel for court appearances in Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam, and Rockland Counties


Qualifications


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Active license to practice law in New York State
  • Minimum of 3 years of matrimonial/family law experience 
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Effective negotiation and advocacy abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


Compensation & Benefits


  • Salary: $100,000 – $175,000 per year (based on experience and performance)
  • Health insurance
  • Paid CLE and New York Bar renewal fees

Schedule & Work Environment
