What You’ll Do

  • Manage a personal injury caseload, starting in pre-litigation with a defined path toward litigation responsibilities
  • Represent clients in negotiations and mediations to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings as your experience develops
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Assist in preparing cases for trial, hearings, mediations, and depositions
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and development
  • Participate in client consultations and help guide clients through the legal process
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases forward efficiently


Who You Are

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
  • 0–4 years of legal experience (personal injury or civil litigation is a plus, not required)
  • Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
