Associate Attorney, Creditor's Rights | North County San Diego (On-Site)
A well-established regional law firm is seeking a junior associate (1–3 years of experience) to join its Creditor's Rights Department in a full-time, on-site capacity in North County San Diego. This is a hands-on litigation-adjacent role with exposure to bankruptcy and state court proceedings across both federal and state venues.
About the Role
You'll work across the full lifecycle of creditor's rights matters — from case intake through court proceedings. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing case files, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, complaints, discovery, and bankruptcy filings, and supporting attorneys in federal, bankruptcy, and state court matters. You'll also manage deadlines, collaborate on case strategy, and serve as a point of contact for client communications.
