Associate Attorney – Family Law

We are currently seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with demonstrated experience to join our growing team.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience handling family law matters (minimum 3-years of family law experience), strong litigation skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Demonstrated experience in family law (3-year minimum)
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, stepparent adoptions, surrogacy cases and restraining orders.
- Appear in court and handle hearings independently.
- Draft pleadings, declarations, discovery, and Points and Authorities.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Manage an active caseload from initial consultation through resolution.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in family law.
- Demonstrated courtroom experience and familiarity with San Diego County court procedures.
- Strong legal writing, drafting, and research skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
