We are currently seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with demonstrated experience to join our growing team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience handling family law matters (minimum 3-years of family law experience), strong litigation skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.


Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Demonstrated experience in family law (3-year minimum)
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team


Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, stepparent adoptions, surrogacy cases and restraining orders.
  • Appear in court and handle hearings independently.
  • Draft pleadings, declarations, discovery, and Points and Authorities.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Manage an active caseload from initial consultation through resolution.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in family law.
  • Demonstrated courtroom experience and familiarity with San Diego County court procedures.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and research skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
