We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious licensed Illinois attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. Newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply. The position offers a great deal of variety, including appearing in court regularly representing clients in all aspects of prosecuting eviction matters and providing counsel to not-for-profit community associations regarding mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy issues. The ideal candidate is eager to advance in their legal career, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and is proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients, both Associations and housing providers in court for eviction proceedings.
• Review, revise and approve pleadings for eviction proceedings.
• Provide legal opinions and advice concerning mortgage foreclosures and their effect on Associations.
• Provide legal opinions and advice concerning bankruptcy and its effect on Associations.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
• 1-3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a car and be willing to travel as needed.
