Associate Attorney

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an associate to join our New York City office.
• The ideal candidate must be organized and able to handle a high-volume case load, able to develop appropriate defense strategies, receptive to feedback and taking direction but also self-motivated to meet goals in a timely manner.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing files for defense from inception to resolution, extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and trial preparation.
• Practice areas include, but are not limited to, product liability, toxic tort, commercial litigation, property and casualty, construction, and general liability.

Requirements:

• Admission to New York Bar is a must. Admission to Florida, New Jersey, Missouri, Illinois, and/or Pennsylvania State Bar is a plus.
• 1 to 6 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• A self-starter with superior research and analytical skills.
• Superb writing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform all aspects of the position satisfactorily while working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 - $145,000 per year (based on experience)
