We are an elite boutique litigation firm specializing in catastrophic injury cases involving aerospace, automotive, trucking, motorcycle, and product liability matters. Our small team has secured eight and nine-figure settlements and verdicts against Fortune 500 companies, combining deep engineering expertise with exceptional legal advocacy. We're expanding our presence with a new Long Beach office while maintaining strong ties to our Los Angeles headquarters, located in South Pasadena.


The Opportunity

We seek two exceptional Junior Associates to join our growing practice.


This role offers unparalleled exposure to every phase of complex civil litigation—from initial investigation through trial—handling cases with millions at stake. You'll work directly with senior attorneys and the Managing Partner on technically complex matters requiring both legal excellence and the ability to learn engineering details.


Core Responsibilities

  • Draft and potentially argue discovery motions in state and federal court
  • Assist in the preparation and depositions of fact witnesses and experts
  • Manage document-intensive discovery in cases involving complex engineering or product liability failures
  • Collaborate with technical experts on accident reconstruction and failure analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive case analyses involving regulatory compliance and industry standards
  • Contribute to trial preparation and strategy in high-stakes litigation
  • Interface directly with catastrophically injured clients and their families


Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from accredited law school with strong academic record (top 25% preferred)
  • Admitted to practice law in either: California, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Colorado, Washington State, Florida, Texas, or Illinois. Pending with expected admission within 60 days will also be considered.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
  • Genuine passion for plaintiff-side advocacy and holding corporations accountable


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, products liability, or complex civil litigation.
  • Technical undergraduate degree (engineering, physics, or hard sciences)
  • Federal court admission
  • Experience with aviation, automotive, or product defect litigation
  • Class action experience
  • Comfort analyzing technical documents and engineering specifications
  • Second language proficiency
