About the Role

This position offers hands-on experience across a broad range of family law matters, with direct involvement in both litigation and settlement-focused work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys on complex and emotionally significant cases.


Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, annulments, custody, visitation, child support, property and debt division, and spousal support
  • Handle paternity, guardianship, adoption, and grandparent visitation matters
  • Negotiate and draft premarital and postnuptial agreements
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Assist with trial preparation and attend court appearances
  • Participate in hearings, discovery, and case strategy development
  • Maintain strong client communication throughout all stages of representation


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of family law experience
  • Admitted to the Nevada Bar (required)

  • Strong family law experience
  • Excellent legal writing and drafting skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong courtroom and advocacy skills or demonstrated exposure to hearings and motions practice
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive family matters
